Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serve as interim General Manager or Department Head at assigned properties as needed.
  • Assess hotel operations upon arrival and develop an action plan to stabilize, optimize, and support local teams.
  • Lead, coach, and support department heads and line-level staff to ensure service, operational, and financial goals are met.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety protocols, company policies, and service excellence expectations.
  • Assist with new property openings, acquisitions, or transitions by implementing systems and training staff.
  • Provide support during staffing gaps, high-turnover periods, or performance recovery assignments.
  • Collaborate with corporate leadership to report on property status, improvement plans, and operational risks.
  • Monitor and improve guest satisfaction scores, cost controls, labor management, and daily hotel performance.
  • Oversee financial reporting processes including revenue management, forecasting, payroll, and cost containment.
  • Travel to assigned properties on short notice and adapt quickly to different hotel environments and team cultures.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • 3–5 years of experience as a General Manager, Hotel Manager, or Department Head in hospitality.
  • Proven track record of improving hotel operations and leading teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel systems (PMS, POS, accounting, HRIS, etc.).
  • Ability to effectively manage and motivate diverse teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Highly adaptable, organized, and able to hit the ground running.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the south-east and remain on-site for extended periods (typically 2–8 weeks per assignment).
