Are you a driven, dynamic sales leader ready to take your career to the next level? Our LaQuinta Inn and Suites and our SOON-TO-OPEN ECHO Suites by Wyndham Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Dual Director of Sales to lead our sales efforts and maximize revenue across all segments — including room bookings, catering, corporate groups, and special events.
As a key member of our leadership team, you’ll oversee a talented sales staff and play a vital role in shaping the hotel’s presence in the market. From creating strategic marketing plans to developing long-term client relationships, you’ll be at the forefront of our growth. The successful candidate will have a "hunter" mentality, with a strong capability to expand and grow new accounts and drive new business to the property.
The Dual Director of Sales responsibilities include developing and booking business through pro-active prospecting calls, marketing, conducting outside appointment calls and hotel tours, maintaining relationships with current and future clients, and representing the hotel in various networking events either in person or virtually for all market segments.
What you'll do
- Lead all hotel sales and marketing initiatives, driving revenue across room and catering departments.
- Supervise and motivate the sales team including managers, coordinators, and catering staff.
- Develop and execute a strategic marketing plan and sales action plan.
- Cultivate new accounts and maintain strong relationships across corporate, government, SMERF, leisure, and association markets.
- Conduct engaging site tours for prospective clients showcasing the property’s best features.
- Represent the hotel in the community and participate in industry organizations.
- Oversee promotional campaigns and customer communication efforts.
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction that drives repeat business.
- You'll be successful if you have
- Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Familiarity with the local market and a proactive, guest-first mindset.
- Experience with kosher catering and multicultural events is a plus.
- Required Qualifications/Experience
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in hotel sales and marketing.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a high-performing team.
- Strong negotiation, sales, and client relations skills.
- Working knowledge of sales systems (Delphi experience a plus).
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

The LaQuinta Inn & Suites - Airport Plaza is located 5 miles from the Springfield-Branson National Airport, this casual hotel off I-44 is also a 4.4 mile drive from Fantastic Caverns.
The hotel offers minifridges, microwaves and coffeemakers are offered in each room, as well as pillow-top mattresses, free WiFi and flat-screen TVs with premium cable channels and Nintendo GameCubes. Upgraded rooms and suites add separate seating areas with sofabeds. Kids 18 and under stay free with a parent or grandparent.
A complimentary airport shuttle and continental breakfast are offered.
