HOUSEMAN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide housekeepers with the items needed to clean guest rooms and help stock the carts.
• Stripping linen from checked out rooms, stocking the housekeeping shelves.
• Make sure that outside areas, like patios, sidewalks, and parking lots are kept clean, tidy, and in working order.
• Taking care of common areas in a hotel, such as the lobby, restrooms, and pool area where applicable.

HOUSEMAN QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be detail oriented, have good customer service skills, be able to lift some heavy items and understand cleaning basics.
•  Work experience in Housekeeping/Janitorial preferred
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products
• Good physical health and stamina
• Flexibility to work in shifts
• Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions
• High school diploma is a plus
