We are seeking a service-oriented and versatile Bartender with mixology skills to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both front-of-house guest interaction and assisting in the kitchen when needed. The right candidate will have experience behind the bar, strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The Bartender/Mixologist will be responsible for beverage preparation, maintaining bar cleanliness and sanitation, and providing excellent service to all guests. In addition, this role will support the kitchen team by assisting with basic food preparation, plating, and ensuring smooth coordination between the bar and kitchen.

You should possess excellent communication skills and take pride in creating innovative cocktails, pairing food and drinks, and putting a smile on every guest’s face.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and coffee
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bar and beverage areas
• Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation, plating, and running food when needed
• Ensure smooth communication between bar and kitchen during service
• Demonstrate working knowledge of bar tools, proper pours, and glassware
• Consistently prepare classic and specialty cocktails with accuracy and efficiency
• Upsell menu items and recommend pairings based on guest preferences
• Provide elevated guest service and create a welcoming atmosphere
• Build relationships with guests to encourage repeat business
• Follow opening, running, and closing procedures, including cleaning duties
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Accurately handle cash and process payments
• Follow all company policies as outlined in the employee handbook
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years bartending experience in a high-volume environment preferred
• Must be 21 years of age or older and hold a current ABC license
• Knowledge of beer styles, wine varietals, spirits, and cocktail recipes
• Basic kitchen or food handling experience preferred (or willingness to learn)
• Strong multitasking and teamwork skills
• Excellent communication and guest service skills
• Proficiency in math and cash handling
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
