🛠️ Houseman Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support housekeeping staff by stocking carts with linens and supplies 🧺

• Strip linens from checked-out rooms and restock housekeeping shelves

• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas including patios, sidewalks, and parking lots 🌿

• Clean and maintain common areas such as the lobby, restrooms, and pool area (where applicable)

• Assist with general cleanliness and upkeep throughout the property

• Ensure all assigned areas meet hotel cleanliness and safety standards

• Respond to guest room maintenance requests (TVs, HVAC, plumbing, lighting, locks, etc.)
• Complete preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public areas.
• Assist with cleaning projects and maintain the appearance of the hotel inside and out.
• Perform routine repairs, painting, and touch-ups throughout the property.
• Inspect guest rooms and public spaces to ensure Marriott brand standards are met.
• Maintain the parking lot, sidewalks, and exterior grounds.
• Remove trash and keep storage, maintenance, and work areas clean and organized.
• Assist other departments as needed, including housekeeping and public area cleaning.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations while providing excellent guest service.

🧠 Qualifications & Skills:

• Detail-oriented with strong customer service skills 😊

• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely 💪

• Understanding of basic cleaning procedures

• Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred

• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products 🧼

• Good physical health and stamina

• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

• Ability to work independently while maintaining high performance standards

• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow instructions

• High school diploma a plus
