- Assist with training and developing and disciplines food and beverage staff.
- Assists with food cost controls, methods, and procedures
- Assists with creation of menu prices, beverage lists, and beverage prices.
- Ensure associates are in proper uniform and attire.
- Ensure service expectations are met at all touch points.
- Standardized portions used, and is responsible for controlling of food, beverage, and labor.
- Assist in the development of core F&B training programs and SOP development.
- Review and coordination of all breakfast offerings.
- Review of all buffet and banquet service to ensure efficiencies and effectiveness.
- Adheres with kitchen maintenance and sanitation program, insuring proper use of equipment.
- Adheres and maintains all Health Department rules and regulations.
- Must be responsible for security of guests, fellow employees, and hotel assets.
- Keep confidential the business functions of the company including, but not limited to, financial status, customer/guest information, employee issues, etc.
Skills and Qualifications
The Food and Beverage Manager will work a variety of shifts to assist hotel staff members and guests with any issues that may arise. The Food and Beverage Manager will also report directly to the General Manager or the Director of Outlets and communicate appropriately depending on needs.
Culinary or hospitality degree or any equivalent combination of experience or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved. Compensation will be based upon level of experience. Previous experience with hotel food service is a plus!
